Individual Therapy:

Short-term work can provide you with support during a life transition or crisis  and can help to access and develop healthy coping skills; mindfulness and body awareness tools may be introduced as a part of these skills.

Long-term therapy provides a compassionate space to explore and grow work and deepens understanding of underlying issues. Tools are developed in more depth.

You may have chronic concerns that need longer term attention or may use therapy as a vehicle for ongoing growth.

Parent and Family Coaching: I work with parents and families to provide support during and after life transitions or illness. With eating disorders, I use an FBT informed orientation. Our work may include support during the crisis—providing resources, skills and practical interventions. After a crisis, we may look more deeply at underlying dynamics and patterns to support you in having the relationships you desire.

Parents

I provide support for parents, particularly those wanting coaching for supporting their loved one through an eating disorder. I use a Family Based Therapy (FBT) informed approach and incorporate support to help parents unite. I l use an active, empathetic presence and provide skills and resources.

Whether your loved one has an eating disorder or you are needing general parenting support, my emotion coaching and experience may be a supportive bridge during this time.

Caregivers:

Caring for someone with an illness is often grueling work. Whether the illness is an eating disorder or another medical/psychiatric illness, you deserve to have a listening, caring space to receive support. We will collaborate together to assess your, and your loved one’s, needs.

Support Groups: I provide support groups for those seeking community and skillful means of navigating illness, transitional periods and caregiving. Please reach out to see what current offerings are available.

Upcoming Groups:

DBT Skills Group for Eating Disorders (with Jared L Phillips, LPCC): This group will start once we have six participants.
